KONDA Research and Consultancy (estd. 1986, Istanbul, Turkey) is an Istanbul-based research, consultancy and public opinion polling company known for its distinctive approach to knowledge production in observing and analysing contemporary Turkey’s politics, society and individuals. Through face-to-face surveys and other qualitative and quantitative research methods, the company provides insights into specific needs and offers guidance in deciphering often unforeseen social movements and momentum but also suggesting novel ways of challenging prejudices in society. Since 2010, KONDA has been conducting monthly ‘KONDA Barometer surveys’ measuring political preferences as well as providing political measurement and consultancy services with special surveys tailored to the demands of individuals and organisations. It has also been one of the political opinion polling companies active during the local, general and presidential elections, with varying degrees of success.
