Merve Mepa (b.1985, Kocaeli) received her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics at Kocaeli University and Bachelors of Art in Painting at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. After that, she had Master of Arts in painting from Marmara University. Recently, she continues her Proficiency in Art Education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University since 2021. Her studies focus on the transformability of the language and meaning of the material with questioning the tools that are functionally present in daily life which serve cultural paradigms as a communication tool. She works and lives in Istanbul.
