Potato Growers is a part of THE RURAL programme, led by Bige Örer and organised by the Istanbul Biennial.

A conversation and a feast with the participation of Güven, Kara and Süt Families from the Cappadocia region of Turkey, who have been growing potato with different methods and scales of farming for generations. In a spirit of celebrating the harvest, each family will cook and share their favourite potato recipe. Joining will be Wapke Feenesta and Kevser Güler who have been conceiving the Potato Growers project, which will also be culminating in a book launch at this festive day. Gaye Gönülal, a local guide and an indivisible company to this potato-chaser duo, will also be joining them.
