İlke Şahin (born in 1992, Istanbul) lives and works in Istanbul and Izmir. She graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture in 2016. Şahin won first prize at the National Competition of Interior Architecture Students Graduation Projects with In’n Up in 2016. In 2017 she started to study at the Art and Design graduate programme at Dokuz Eylül University’s Institute of Fine Arts. Her artworks explore/employ the phenomenology of perception and haptics. Group exhibitions Şahin has participated in are Mahal, Izmir (2018); MamutArt, Istanbul (2018); Manifesto, Izmir (2018) and Units, Izmir (2018).
