Bahriye Kabadayı Dal (b. 1977, Istanbul) lives in Istanbul. She graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, TV and Cinema. She has been working in the field of documentary cinema since 1997. She produced her first film Son Eller, which is about a gramophone master, in 1998. In her first feature-length documentary Revolutionary Youth Bridge, she told the story of the 1968 generation. Her films about social history, archaeology, the city and the sea include; Boğaziçi Balıkları (2013), Hakkâri’nin Gizemli Taşları (2014) and Ütopyadan Gerçeğe (2016). She is currently working on A Black Sea Story that will consist of different forms.
