Kerem Ozan Bayraktar (born in 1984) resides in Istanbul. Bayraktar produces work focussing on transformation, mutation, diversity and cloning, heavily employing animation, computer-generated 3D visualisations, models and text. He recreates and depicts the boundaries, cycles and interactions of artificial and natural systems within a broad field of research ranging from planet morphology to urban flora. He received his Master of Fine Arts, and Proficiency in Arts degrees from Marmara University, Institute of Fine Arts. Bayraktar has had six solo exhibitions including Chance and Necessity, Sanatorium, Istanbul, 2018 and et cetera, PGArt, Istanbul (2015). Group exhibitions he has participated in include Colony, Abud Efendi Konağı, Istanbul / Schwules Museum Berlin (2017); Deep Darkness and Splendor, Galerist, Istanbul (2017); Habitat, Istanbul Modern (2016); VIVO, KASA Gallery, Istanbul (2015).
