Aşkın Ercan (b.1983, Diyarbakır) lives in Ankara and Eskişehir. Her work explores intersections between the personal and the political examining the impact of urban life, memory, and daily life on the social and cultural dynamics. She focuses on ecological culture-based concerns and destruction from these intersections. She uses video, installation, photography, sound and collage in her art practices. In 2019, she graduated her proficiency in art at Gazi University, Department of Painting.
